Course translations

Why translate a course

Buyers search in their language. Translating titles, descriptions, and workout audio expands reach without filming a second program. The original language stays primary — translations extend the card and viewing experience.

How it works

FitSpace uses AI for:

• Text — course title/description, workout titles/descriptions, block labels;
• Video — dubbed audio from each workout’s audio track.

Up to 29 languages — add by priority (English, Spanish, etc.), not necessarily all at once.

When it’s available

• Usually after the course is approved in its main language;
• On the course page in author actions — Translations;
• Workout videos must exist (cost is based on total video duration).

Payment and launch

The author pays before processing starts (card on platform). The Translations UI shows a cost estimate per language (depends on total minutes and number of clips).

Steps:

1. Open Translations on an approved course.
2. Pick a language.
3. Review cost and pay.
4. After payment the job is queued — status processing, then completed or partial / failed (details on the translations page).
5. Check the course card by switching site language — that’s what buyers see.

You cannot order the same language twice — pick another language or contact support on failure.

What is / isn’t translated

Finalize the original before ordering translations; later edits may need a new order.

Tips

1. Approved course in your main language first.
2. Start with 1–3 high-demand languages.
3. Listen to 1–2 dubbed clips — AI may miss terms.
4. State in the description which audio languages are available.

Common mistakes

• Ordering before the original is final — paying again after edits.
• Expecting instant completion — processing takes time by video volume.
• Not checking the card in the target site language.
